Please note that by submitting your details to GMSA Pathways, you agree the GMSA to use your personal data for educational research purposes. We only use your personal data in an anonymous form so that nobody can identify you from any of our research reports. You can be assured that your details will not be shared with any outside agencies.

Modern information and communication technologies play a fundamental role in the activities of the Greater Manchester Strategic Alliance (GMSA), a partnership of 39 educational institutions and related organizations.  We are based in Manchester, UK.

Our principal activity is: A Lifelong Learning Network which strives to increase the number of vocational learners participating in Higher Education.

We do not take specific steps to protect the privacy of children who disclose their personal data to us.

We do not provide information about our personal data practices in relation to children on our home page, or at those sites on our websites where we collect personal data.

Disclosure and Visitor Choice

We disclose the GMSA Pathways Enquiry Service users’ personal data to our member institutions when, and only when, the users send enquiries to specific educational institutions thought the Pathways website. By choosing to send an enquiry, the user opts-in to disclosure of their personal data to educational institutions for customer administration and marketing purposes.

Confidentiality / Security

We do not give visitors to our websites the option of using a secure transmission method to send us their personal data.

We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from:
