To ensure you get the conditional offer or guaranteed interview you MUST register your enquiry through GMSA Pathways, make contact with the college or university and ultimately apply through UCAS.
Once you have found a course (or courses) that you are interested in, click on the ‘Register your enquiry’ icon and enter your details. By completing and submitting the short form to the college or university you are registering your interest in the course. This entitles you to benefit from the promise made through GMSA Pathways – conditional offer, guaranteed interview, application welcome.
Note: An enquiry does not oblige you to make a formal application, which must be done through UCAS. GMSA Pathways allows you to register an interest in as many courses as you like.
Your enquiry will be received by the college or university delivering your chosen course. They will reply to you directly, by email, to follow up your interest.
If you are applying for a full-time course, you will usually need to apply through UCAS. If you are studying for a part-time course, the college or university you are interested in will provide you with more information about the application process.
UCAS is the national organisation that processes all higher education applications. and offers further information about higher education courses across the UK. For a full list visit www.ucas.com
Remember – if you are currently studying for a qualification you are encouraged to seek advice from your college tutor and/or advisor.
To take advantage of the promise made in GMSA Pathways you will need to indicate this on your UCAS application form. On your UCAS application, go to the choices section and complete all the compulsory fields on the page. In the box next to ‘Further details’ enter ‘GMSA Pathways’. Please see sample UCAS page below:
